SEND
‘All behaviour is a form of communication’
At The Carlton Infant Academy we believe that every child and their family matters, therefore the inclusion of pupils identified as having Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our school community is integral to the diversity and richness of school.
Our whole-school inclusive ethos reflects a genuine belief that all children will achieve their full potential and foster a life-long love of learning. We seek solutions to all barriers to learning for all our pupils and support all our families and pupils in the best way we can.
When a child's needs are identified by teaching staff we follow a cycle of assess, plan, do, review to ensure that interventions and high quality first teaching resources are in place.
We are always striving to provide the best for our pupils and work closely with the Redhill Trust Director of SEND.
As SENDCO it is Mrs Clarke’s role to co-ordinate SEND provision within school. If you ever want to speak to Mrs Clarke, please contact the school office on 0115 9100887 or office@thecarltoninfantacademy.org.uk
